Austra poster

I went to forbidden fruit festival  yesterday, where  I saw few bands and djs, like Austra, Chic, Primal scream…. It was a amazing day, JUst loved it! So, today as I was curing my hangover I made this poster for Austra one of my favourite bands at the moment! Its very simple and easy poster but I like it..

So now, I finished the one year course that I was doing in Arts, graphics and printmaking and going to be starting the 2 years course in graphic design. I’m going to be updating everything what I have done over the course during the summer and my new things like this poster, I’m getting started in graphics! I’m starting graphic design, but what I want to do is illustration trough  graphic design and hope it still quite craft.

 

Pinhole photography

Pinhole photography is quite trick, everything changes everything.  The weather, the light, the distance of the object… And,you have just one shot per turn, that makes pinhole photography so exciting as well. We dont know what is going to come up until we develop it in the dark room.  I started in pinhole photography  september last year, since then I have been taking( trying) photographes with the pinhole camera that we built in college. This photograph here, in  this post is one of the first ones I took. Gonna be posting  the others as soon as I find the files. 

Sketching for Work experience

For work experience we went for a week in  Inis Onirr Island in Galway, Ireland.  The work experience was all about drawing, sketching painting, photographing on location. I posted already the photographs of the shrine that was buit over there. The weather was very, very, very cold and windy. But, even this way we have done good studies and we had the craic. Here, follow my sketchbook from inis onir, most using fine liner and watercolors. The sketches are from locations like the graveyard, the plassy ( an old rusty boat in the beach),  and anything we taught would be interesting enough.
